Search French companies free on DATA INPI, which publishes the national business register (RNE) together with filed deeds and annual accounts. A Kbis extract from the Paris commercial court registry costs €3.10 to view on screen or €4.00 by post. Since 31 July 2024 the beneficial owner register (RBE) has been open only to authorities, AML-obliged entities and applicants with a legitimate interest, and access is free. Companies are identified by the 9-digit SIREN.

- The RNE has centralized company registration since 1 January 2023, replacing the RNCS, RM and RAA, and its data is free on DATA INPI. Certified Kbis extracts still come from the greffes; the prices shown are the Paris greffe's and can differ by ordering channel.
