The record of beneficial owners is not published and is disclosed only under s.967 of the Companies Regulations or with the entity’s consent. Companies are identified by the ADGM registered number allocated by the Registrar.

- What to know before a KYB check
- Since 7 February 2025 the Registration Authority has withheld certificates of good standing and incumbency from entities with unpaid late-filing fines, so an entity that cannot produce one may be in that position. Branches of foreign companies and partnerships are outside the Beneficial Ownership and Control Regulations 2022.
