What to know before a KYB check
The final rule makes permanent the exemptions in the 26 March 2025 interim final rule, so KYB on US-formed entities cannot rely on any federal BOI filing. FinCEN warns that forms labeled 'Form 4022' or 'Form 5102' are fraudulent.
